Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve is an ancient and extensive part of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Bought in 2012 by a generous donation and funding support, it guaranteed the future of significantly important Breckland landscape in this part of East Anglia.

Now Knettishall Heath is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a significant landscape for the protection of the biodiversity of Suffolk heathland. Rare and endangered species find a home that these days are far too rare. Heathers, grasses and flowers are now found here. And lucky visitors get to see and experience heathland Britain as it was before.
