A village that once was. All that remains are the church and a few more modern cottages.


The English Heritage interpretation panels help to guide you around this site.


But for those with imagination and with a sense of 'Indiana Jones' let your nose guide you around this former village, seeing the echoes of farm work, village life and the day-to-day of this once busy place.

Find the carpark for Wharram Percy off a minor road from the B1248 south from Wharram-le-Street south-east of Malton. Or find alternative footpaths and walking trails which come past the site on the Yorkshire Wolds.
