Topped by St Michael's Tower, Glastonbury Tor is a promontory in the famous town of Glastonbury in Somerset. 

It is a worthy trundle up the steps to the top from the town centre with stupendous views all around. A famous landmark that offers all the chance to stand over 500 feet above all else in this part of the world.


Formerly an island until drainage on the Somerset Levels with a church on its peak, its historical myth relates it to the Arthurian legends which dance with imagination.
