Description |

Grafham Water is one of the larger lakes in Britain. A pleasant place to amble. To either engage in the paths which track around the water or just dally a bit watching the action unfold on the water. Water sports, fishing or nature? There is room for one and all.

It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest or SSI. It means that the area has specific nature importance. Grafham Water is a reservoir but it was immediately colonised by ducks, geese, insects and amphibians including newts. There is a nature reserve on one side.
